Pietran
The Pietrain breed is the most common if not exclusive terminal sire in many parts of Europe. It's traits of extreme muscle, and lean meat production make it the breed of choice in many countries. Sand Ridge Pietrain are founded on a German Pietrain base, and bred for strength in the legs, as well as eliminating PSS for the commercial market.
Duroc
Sand Ridge Duroc are an excellent choice for a sound and durable terminal sire. While the main use of this animal in our breeding program is for the production of the Redline Terminal Sire, it is also gaining popularity as a stand-alone terminal choice. With good growth rates and excellent meat quality, the Duroc can be used to get the indexes we are looking for.
